Our Team

  • Meagan Davies, LPC, NCC

    Therapist, Coaching, and Workshop Facilitator

At age 45, I made the bold career move to leave the business sector and pursue my purpose to help people as a clinical mental health provider. Having lived most of my professional life as an executive, I learned how hard it is to juggle the demands of family life, work, and volunteering. When high-achieving professionals walk into my practice, they're not just seeking therapy. They're seeking permission to be human in spaces that often demand superhuman performance. I know firsthand the struggles women deal with daily and am passionate about helping others navigate anxiety, depression, self-doubt, imposter syndrome and other challenges.

I have significant training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure Response Prevention Therapy (ERP), and trauma. My Master of Science is in Clinical Mental Health from Mercer with additional certifications from Cornell University in Executive Leadership and Change Management.

    My additional leadership roles include:

2019- 2025 Leadership Atlanta Board of Trustees

    2021-2022 Leadership Atlanta Program Chair

    AOII Foundation, President 2021-2023

  • Ingrid Emmons

    Therapist, Coaching, and Workshop Facilitator

Ingrid works with people who are ready to stop performing and start living. Whether you’re a young adult figuring out your identity, a high-achiever silently burning out, or someone at a personal or professional crossroads, you’ve probably outgrown the roles you were taught to play. Emmons helps you untangle that mess and rebuild from a place of clarity, not conditioning. Her approach is trauma-informed, holistic, and rooted in both cultural awareness and straight talk. No fluff. Just real growth.

Before becoming a therapist, Ingrid spent over two decades in corporate HR—guiding executives, mentoring emerging talent, and redesigning systems from the inside out. She’s helped clients retool careers, reset nervous systems, and break generational patterns they didn’t even know were running the show.

Ingrid holds an MBA from Emory and an MA in Clinical Psychology (LPCC track) from Pepperdine. Her work blends business insight, psychological training, and personal experience — including raising three adult children who continue to be her greatest teachers, and co-parenting a beloved grand dog. She offers evening and weekend sessions to meet clients where they are, especially those who are always “on” for everyone else. For those ready to reconnect with who they truly are — not just who they were trained to be — Ingrid welcomes the opportunity to support you on your journey.

  • DaCota Goodwin, LPGC

    Therapist and Workshop Facilitator

DaCota Goodwin is a LAPC and is only taking clients in the Washington DC area. From personal experience, she understands how difficult and lonely walking the road less traveled can feel. Growing up, she sought to make her community proud while struggling with self-worth, authenticity, and safety. Navigating life under preconceived notions from society and family can cause many to function in survival mode, leading to burnout and much worse. With time, she learned to accept herself while walking on the path of self-discovery. With her life experiences and educational training, she strives to create a unique, safe space catering to your needs.

She enjoys working with adolescents, young adults, and adults on issues like anxiety, depression, low self esteem, and burnout. DaCota has additional experience working with individuals with developmental conditions like Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). Her style is holistic and looks at the whole person while considering your circumstances, environment, and origin story. (DaCota practices under the supervision of Jessica Schmoll, LPC, CPCS).

  • Jessica Schmoll, LPC, CPCS

    Workshop Facilitator

Jessica has 19 years of licensed experience in the field of mental health. During that time, she has worked in a private practice setting and in psychiatric hospitals, run a community mental health clinic, and led a long-term residential treatment center. Jessica also served in a leadership role developing mental healthcare strategy for the state of Georgia for a multi-billion-dollar, nonprofit corporation. She has led workshops and trainings, spoken on panels and at a fancy mental health summit, and completed two master’s degrees in business and in counseling.
